    Default 1996 MazdaSpeed MX-3

    hey guys,

    this is my 1996 mazda mx-3 just though id share it with u. its the basic 4cylinder 16valve doch with a few things done to it and hopefully a lot more comin in the near future...

    ENGINE/AIR:

    NGK Spark Plug Wires
    NGK Iridium Sprk Plugs
    Unorthodow Racing Underdrive Crank Pulley (3.5 pounds lighter than stock)
    Injen Short Ram Intake (custom pipe with injen air filter)
    Magnaflow Performance Exhuast (custom pipe from axle with magnaflow performance muffler)
    Pacesetter Short Throw Shifter (adjustment can give as much as an 80% shorter throw)

    SUSPENSION:

    Tokico Performance Struts
    H&R Lowering Springs (1.5" front, 1.3" rear drop)
    OEM V6 Model Front Lower Tie Arm
    OEM V6 Model Rear Lower Tie Arm
    Tenzo-R Front Upper Strut Tower Bar
    Tenzo-R Rear Upper Strut Tower Bar

    WHEELS/TIRES:

    17" DRAG DR3 w/ kaltire bridgestone potenza knockoffs (205/40/R17)
    15" STEELIES w/ michelin x-ice (185/55/R17)

    BODY:

    Completely Stock Body
    New Paint Job (bmw m3 black w/ blue pearl)

    ICE:

    Viper Alarm
    Alpine CDA-9853 (HEAD UNIT)
    Alpine Type-S (SPEAKERS) (ALL AROUND)
    Alpine Type-R 12" (SUBWOOFER)
    Alpine MRD-500 (AMP)

    INTERIOR/OTHER:

    Acura Integra Type-R Shift Boot (red stiching)
    Acura TSX Shift Knob

    Thats all for now, I was really close to selling the car but I just love it too much since there isnt many of them out there, so there are now huge plans for this car...

    so it came home..... and sat in the garage for two weeks while we changed all the bearing, brakes, spark plug wires, spark plugs, oil.....etc

    headlights were very fogged up and took a lot of work to get them lookin like new...

    engine was very dirty and borin from previous owner. it was completely stock i had just added on the K&N...



    i had the head gasket and timin belt done so i also decided to get some stuff powder coated, gave the engine its life back...



    Much Better!!!

    indiglo gauges...


    magnaflow performance muffler...


    unorthodox racing underdrive crank pulley (i actually felt some power after this mod was installed)...


    as you see im goin with the red stichin theme...

    last one... puttin her to sleep... from this angle you can see the rear lower tie arm, im cheap instead of buyin one which is 175bux, i went to the junkyard found a v6 model took the tie arm off came home painted it and put it on, i know it doesnt do anything i just put it there for looks...
