Wel if you cant go big to the real thing, its much easier to get in there......Okanagan is a nice place though..Nothing beats it out on the coast though.
Yeah id love to go to the Vancouver Campus but my HS grades just dont cut it to get accepted. Comeon some one on here must have some thoughts.
UBC Okanagan is still a UBC degree. And its the Okanagan.
Okanagan > Coast
But I hate Vancouver. And the coast allways fricken rains I lived there for just over a year and it was terrible.
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

As far as I know they only offer a Management degree. What are you taking right now in your business program? Another option is Malaspina University in Nanaimo, if you have a non-management related degree. I was going to go to UBC okanagan, but they dont offer marketing, so that changed that

You know what, I'm such a ricer. More form than function, oversized exhaust, Japanese engine, and if I put the tailgate down it kind of acts as much like a wing as the picnic table wings the fast and furious guys are bolting to their cars.
I guy I worked with previously said he went there to get his computer programming degree. I havn't heard anything bad about it...havn't really good anything great about it either. U of Victoria I hear is an excellent school if you can afford the ridiculous housing costs
Wow, what funny timing, I was just about to post on this same topic...
A good friend of mine has just applied to go there, and I was wondering what everybody thought of that location?...
Why is the admission GPA only a 2.0? That is what concerns me. Did they just do a lot of construction and now are short students?...
Res isn't that expensive there, tuition is pretty similar to here, and if UBC degrees are respected in the real world, then I see nothing wrong with the place.

It does allow you to specialize in marketing in your fourth year.Originally posted by Kirbs17

But if you ignore that, not sure why he commented on that, Lake Okanagon is actually a really nice place. I go there every summer a couple times usually.
But don't drugs and BC go hand in hand lol
Exactly, they aren't meeting their enrollment targets. I read bout it in a article, next thing i knew, they lowered the grades.Originally posted by Zero102

Listen fam, she had a big rack of lamb
And they caused mad problems like math exams
Ask my man, her tits caused traffic jams
I grew up on an Orchard in the OK. Dont know know what drug problem you are talking about. Its about as much a problem as it is around here. They just make better drugs is all.
Well much less of a problem unless you are into the rave scene.
Unless you are looking for it you would probably never notice anything.

Well,
I know some programs in UBC Okanagan requires you to transfer to Vancouver in 2nd or 3rd year, mainly due to the size of the campus and amount of resources.
I am not sure if business is the same.
I know this guy taking first year engg in UBC Okanagan and then a force transfer to UBC Vancouver for 2nd year.
Thats smart, he got in with a low average and he will be in UBC Vancouver next year with other people who had a 90 avg to get into UBC vancouver.
and also, UBC Okanagan is giving students money for going into that school. so i would recommend going.
