Well.. I have come to realize that I haven't been, nor needed, to be shooting at the longer focal lengths.... I have used this lens ONCE and that was 2 weekends ago on the Beyond Photog. Meet.

Glass is MINT.

The only time I have "seriously" used it was this last photo meet, and that was only for about 10 shots... I don't think the longer end of the focal range is my cup of tea..

I would hazard a guess that you will get a much better response if you post it up on FM. At least there all the offers won't be $300.

Yea I know... haha.. I just really can't be bothered having to ship it around the world just to get a sale on it.. if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it..

Honestly, shipping doesn't take much effort at all, especially in canada. Just box it, take it to Can Post. See if it fits inside of one of the express post envelopes (it's cheaper in the envelope than just in a box for the same item). Get insurance and tracking and you're done. Well worth the effort. Your asking price is more than reasonable and there have been a number of canucks looking for that lens. I've sold and shipped a number of items and never had a problem. Just something to consider.

Don't need any sample shots to know that it's a good lens. Just can't spend money on a lens right now.

The 70-300 IS f/4-5.6 is not an "L" lens... the build quility doesn't compare with this one, this image quility is not as good.

All the guys that are avid shooters on Beyond who have posted (and those who haven't) in my thread know that $725 is a hell of a price for a Mint condition barely used 70-200 f/4L lens... If you don't like it, thats too bad for you.
