anyone know how to fix cd players???

my sony cd player wont read any kind of cds ... what a piece... radio still works that all ...
can anyone help me out here??? ... im thinking the servos are screwed or laser need adjusting... anyone try this before???

and do you know a good repair place??

Hey, i have my sony deck hooked up at home, and NOW it works. (always skipped in my truck)

Just buy a disc that cleans the laser. Fixed my dvd player and car deck.

probably be cheaper to buy a new one off thsi board cause I've seen a few recently for around $100. Repair will be expensive and it will still be a sony.

Just buy a new deck. I know someone that got an estimate to fix the laser on a DVD player and it was approx $230, and you can buy a new one for $180...
