Question Powerbars - High Blood Pressure

Has anyone ever heard of Powerbars causing high blood pressure??....On Weds my doc took my blood pressre and it was 110/70, the following day I had to take a another test and my blood pressure was 144/92 and climbed over a period of 30 minutes to 155/102, this lasted for about 3 hours.

The only thing I ate that morning was 1 PowerBar (choc reg) and about 1/2 of another one about 30 mins later. Can these be the cause????

I highly doubt the powerbar was the cause of it. There are tons of variables involved. I was nervous before doing a physical VO2 test for the Fire Department, so I read an extremely high pressure.

It's not any reason to steer clear of Powerbars, however if that is all you are eating then maybe your diet needs a bit of tweaking.
