Getting a wireless connection
Hey maybe you guys might be able to help me with this issue, it's been driving me crazy all of today. My dad had an old laptop which was running windows 98. It was having a lot of problems so I upgraded it to windows xp pro, but now the wireless pc card just won't pick up a signal. On the card it shows that it has power but the light which normally lights up when it detects a wireless signal is turned off.
(As an aside, my dell laptop picks up the signal fine).
I removed all the software from the computer and reinstalled the cd but still nothing. Do you guys have any ideas or thoughts?
