kane584, I apologize for the behavior of my moderators. It's totally uncalled for. Our staff here should have been professional with you and replied with complete honesty. Instead, you've had to read through 20 posts to get to the real answer here from the CEO. I don't like spending time dealing with petty business, and I will be repremanding my staff for this cruel incident that has occured today. On behalf of the entire beyond.ca crew, staff and volunteers, I apologize.
Now, let's get back to business. My mods were playin' with ya, quoting you 2003 prices. The prices have gone up since then. For 2006, the prices are as follows.
$400/yr - Custom user title. Impress your friends! It's like having a customized license plate, except on the internet! As you can see, anyone can tell I'm the beyond.ca CEO with my user title. You can be as cool as me, for only $400. For an optional $50/yr, you can get "Moderator" as a custom title. Nobody will fuck with you then, as long as you're tight lipped about the fact that you're just a wannabe mod!
$1000/yr - Moderator. You're only paying $550 more than a fake title, and that $550 pays for all the powers of being able to belittle other members of this board. Edit their posts! Remove their signatures! And of course the holy grail, BAN THEIR ASS! All this power is yours for a full year at this price! Smokin' deal!!!
$5000/yr - Special Moderator. Be as elite as our pimp daddy ScCab, who is the only "special" moderator around. I dunno what the special means, special as in special olympics, or special as in special K, because he really doesn't have much more powers than a normal moderator, but christ, it's SPECIAL! You get to be part of the elite team that's only run by ScCab, and honestly, if you become 1/2 as cool as him, you're a celebrity!!!
$20,000/yr - Administrator. As an administrator, you have god like powers to unban people. It's like you're the messiah, bringing back people from the dead. Powers like this are to be respected and not abused, but for $20,000 a year, you can do whatever the fuck you want! As a $10,000 a year option, you will have FTP access, and once you do, you can edit the code of the forums to do cool stuff. Such as make it so nobody can edit your post. It's truly the feeling of god in your own hands, for a low low price of only $30,000/yr. Be in the ranks of kenny, the biggest pimp around here!
$250,000/yr - CEO. That's right. You can earn the title of CEO for this low low price. I figure I could give up being CEO and have enough money for day to day life at this amount. Trust me, being CEO has it's perks. I get all the ladies!
If you wish to purchase beyond, this option is also available. Remember, this site is a huge money maker. Look at how many mods I have paying me yearly for the priviledge, excellent source of recurring revenue with huge potential for growth.
