that does look like a very close match, hmm...
The shape even seems to match the passenger side wing mirror.
Who needs CSI when you've got a bunch of Beyond car freaks?

Actually "Schefenacker" is an australian company that specializes in all kinds of automotive mirrors.
The only cars who use Schefenacker mirrors are Porsche, VW, Audi, The German cars. If not one of these cars, the mirrors were put on as an aftermarket.
However, The RSX pic is too close of a match to disregard it as a suspected car.
dingdingding, looks like we have a match? what next? call each autobody shop up and ask if any 05 rsx's are in? totally sucks that the guy hit n run u tho, good luck with everything...

I don't know it looks very close, but from what I remember that orange color on the RSX was more of a peachy color. Hard to tell from pictures, but when I saw the car in real life the color looked lighter than the picture of the side view mirror.
Then there's the post about them only making mirrors for German cars...that just kind of throws everything out of whack. I think you're getting closer though...
Whoops, yeah. I must be automotively dyslexic.Originally posted by DeeK

i still think it is the rsx type s man
Werent there some "Tropic Orange" MK4 GTIs and Beetles?Originally posted by nismodrifter
Just because the manufacturer name sounds German doesn't mean that the part is from a German car. There are NO VW or Audi's in that color. Zip zero nada.
I'm thinkin maxima.......
The 2004 beetles came in Sunset Orange...
but from the pictures it looks more pumpkin orange...less coppered
How about one of those Dodge Rams?
I saw a nissan murano today in that color and the mirrors looked pretty damn close to that shape to me. But then again that might be a little to high to make that damage.
