Because most 5-speeds in Japan have been bagged to shit!

A swap wouldn't cost that much.

went and drove it today. Smelled antifreeze and burning oil. Read inspection sheet, and it stated leaking steering box, and rear main seal. Owners father stated as well that the rear of the valve cover may be leaking as well.

Had a little odd idle, but when driven the transmission was solid, and the engine still pulls very well. Overall condition of exterior was good, but both of the little mud flaps on the rear were coming off, i could see what looked like a bit of bubbling under the paint on the rear spoiler, and the rear drivers side tire is pooched.

Interior is in excellent shape, with the exception of the steering wheel. Aftermarket deck, also with a MiniDisc player. Engine bay was fairly clean, and paint was great with just a couple of little scratches.

Rims had a bit of rash, but the rims new were probably around $2500-3000. They were very nice, and compliment the vehicle nicely.

Car rides nice at low speeds, but because of the fucked up tire, it rides like a dishwasher at highway speeds.

Oil pressure sending unit is not working, and cruise control doesnt function due to steering wheel change.

Xenons installed, but only the projectors work. The day time lights, and high beams do not work.

^^Yea, it IS alot of $$$, or alot of TIME in repairs.

If the guy was really REALLY flexible on price, it may be something to consider.

Haha, I know how to fix that though :P

We're also in the process of fixing up all those minor things which you've listed. I'd like to get my bands on a new steering wheel especially.

As for that tire, we had a really small puncture which kind of threw that one off. It ended up wearing very oddly on the inside edge - but whatevs, thats a quick fix too.

But yeah, with that tire on - you get a nice massage at the right speeds.

Just for the record I sold my 1990 non-turbo, automatic 300ZX for 11,000 in the bargain finder, took me only 3-4 days to sell. It had 211,000 KM's so I think this is a pretty good deal. That was a few month ago though. Oh yeah, it wasn't a RHD and it had leather, but still bump for a nice car

Alright, I've decided to take a pretty big hit on the price.

It's been dropped to only $10,000 OBO.
