    Default dialing to voicemail

    im havin troubles getting my voicemail on my phone (V551)
    i can get it if i use a diffrent phone, just curious what # do u put in to get?

    you should be able to dial your number to yourself on that phone and have it go to voicemail...

    same thing as if you call your voicemail... you need to put in your number (including area code) and then your password and then acesses your voicemail from there.

    It's something with your routing. Carriers have your voicemail set up conditionally. There's CFNA which is Call Forward No Answer and CFB which is Call Forward Busy. So if you're calling it from another phone, it's ringing, you're not answering it and it's going to voicemail, that means your CFNA is set up correctly. But if you're calling it from your own cell phone and you're getting a busy signal instead of your voicemail, that means your CFB is set up wrong because it should be routing to voicemail instead of giving you that busy signal. Just call your provider man.
