My thoughts: Welcome back, Lara

This is what the series should have been like. From the demo alone, it's back to jumping, shooting, puzzles, and that's about it. And that's good

With FSAA and 1280x1024, this game looks absolutely INCREDIBLE. I bet that it has HDR lighting in the code somewhere on the release version, just from the prettiness of the demo.

Anyways, I think this one will be a good game, and will bring the Tomb Raider name back to prominence

It's actually kinda cool... she'll hang from her fingertips and claw at the wall/rock/etc with her other hand and you have to hit the "interact" key quickly to do a desperation grab to hang on

yea the games awesome, gonna get it for the ps2, i didnt like the controls much for the pc, i had to rearange them, seems like they didnt really want you to use the mouse at all.

too bad the mansion wasnt in the demo.

Graphics look kind of 'last gen' in those PC pics. I hope the 360 version isn't just a high res console port.

Heavy... the graphics look better than pretty much anything out there of the same style, I think. If you're talking about Oblivion with 1280x1024, FSAA and HDR, then yeah, that'd look prettier. But, in my opinion, it looks absolutely superb. In motion, it's also very fluid on an X800XT PE. Maybe the pics don't show the FSAA very well, but d-a-m-n is it pretty in motion

Apparently the 360 version is supposed to look the best. It seems like a pretty fun game and the lighting effects are pretty cool but it feels to me like an Xbox game in 720p. Maybe that passes for great on a PC but on the 360 it looks average at best. The cutscenes lool like ass.
