“Straight roads are for fast cars, turns are for fast drivers.”
if theres alot of pot holes I wouldn't be choosing that tire or rim.I'd maybe step down to a 18'' with a 40 series tire it'll be a bit cheaper in the long run. UNLESS bling bling money ain't a thang.
depends on the tire, but essentially it is suspension dependent. the stiffer the suspension, the more force being transfered to the wheel.
A really low profile tire like that is going to have a very stiff sidewall. Ride is going to be very stiff because of that.

You will notice some difference. I had 225/35 series on my Prelude and I definitely noticed a difference. It won't be huge - hjr is right - suspension makes a way bigger difference.
If you're concerned about potholes then you might want to consider a different size/aspect ratio. I was paranoid about that when I was driving on mine...
My rims bent with plain ole 205/40/17 tires, and I was using stock, soft suspension at the time too! Mind you, there were a series of about 5 potholes each about 10" in size, but I was only going 55 km/h. Stupid Saskatoon roads...Originally posted by R!zz0

So with a 30 series tire, especially with that width, you'd better find the number of a good wheel repair shop before you mount these wheels onto your car.

The profile number ie "30" is relative to width. For example, a 235/35R19 has the same sidewall profile as 275/30R19. This is because the number indicates that the sidewall height is "30" percent, or "35" percent of how wide the tire is, so the wider the tire, the taller the sidewall if the aspect ratio number is the same on both...
30 series! good luck! then again i do have 315/30/20 on the X5 and i don't notice a differnce, but i do also have air ride

I always wonder how manufactures make their vehicles so plush and comfy even with 19" OEM wheels and low-profile tires...
My 235/35, and 265/30/19s are pretty stiff, and I'm on Eibach suspension. You definitely feel more of the road, and cringe going over potholes, but the look and feel of the more aggressive tire is worth it IMO. Infiniti suspension is pretty cushy to begin with though, so that might make it more tolerable for me.
What car are you putting 275/30/19s on?
