    Default WTB: Alcohol...?

    Haha. This is kind of a funny post, but does anyone have any hook-ups on liquor. I need to buy the following, and was hoping someone out there knows someone who can give me a decent deal.

    RYE: 21 - 24 bottles
    RUM: 10 - 12 bottles
    Vodka: 13 - 16 bottles
    Scotch: 2 - 4 bottles
    Gin: 2 - 4 bottles
    Beer: 20 - 24 Dozen
    Wine: 24 bottles

    Anyone?
    And I wonder if I can fit all of that in my stealth?

    ok you could fit 7 cases of liquor and a 24 of beer in your car. For the cheapest prices....call around. Most stores like o.k and solo give party discounts, for quantities like that.

    WTF memystealthandi, I think most places will give you a break on pricing if it's a large purchase....But I would try Solo Liquor or the Stupidstore liquor stores first

    Actually I'm removing my rear seats, and putting a mini-bar in the stealth....jk. And no, it won't fit in my car...that was a joke.

    Yeah, it is for my wedding reception. 200 - 300 guests, so it isn't all that much alcohol.

    Yeah, I tried "the real canadian liquor store" their prices are reasonable I guess? You get the best discount if you buy in dozens.

    Trust me, you won't need that much beer, nobody really drinks beer at weddings, its all about the hard stuff for some reason. Unless your wedding hall/reception area is hot as hell.

    haha. you haven't met my relatives...
    maybe you're right, but I know germans love their beer...
    plus my fiancee is filipino...they drink quite a lot too...damn.

    I went to about half a dozen weddings last year, all big booze fests and I was shocked at how little beer was consumed at all of them. All my buddies over estimated the beer and underestimated the hard stuff.

    Go to ok liquor, tell them how many guests you have coming...they have an estimate sheet for what you need for an average party. Plus you can return anything thats unopened.
