I went to Michaels to try and find this a long time ago and they didn't carry it. I was able to find it at Walmart though.. Just like 3G said (Actually, he was the one that told me where to get it!).

I went to PM Hobby Craft in the NE to find Tamiya transparent orange paint too, for my bumper lenses.

Just make sure to put a layer of clear coat on top!

its for stain glass windows. I have seen it there before but go to Walmart its probably cheaper anyways

i also used the wallmart paint, didnt put clear coat on...is it a must?



turned out fine without it, i just need to wet-sand it a bit

I did my tails with red translucent vinyl once.... turned out really nice

i did my tailights with vinyl too... it's still holding up after 3 years

another really good red translucent paint is Metal Cast Anodized paint. you can get it in Red, Blue, gold...basically they normally use it over a polished metal but it works amazing for taillights and plastics...you can get it at walmart or canadian tire, autozone..etc.
