What about the massive multi-million dollar mall going up in Balzac? That's basically Calgary, really...

I agree, coming from the Edmonton of Saskatchewan (AKA: Regina... not as pretty, cheaper), I loved it there and the only reason I'm not going back is because of the backstabbing, two-faced, in everyone else's business people, NOT because of the city, I love Regina. When I moved to Saskatoon, when people found out I was from Regina, they hated me, or always had something nasty to say.

EDIT: I know those people are everywhere but I find Calgary much more laid back than any other place I've lived.

I don't want this to turn into a Sask bashing thread or keep up with the Edmonton bashing. We all have our own opinions, but many have been shared and it just starts to get old. So maybe we can calm the Beyond dramafest down and congratulate the Edmonton fans, maybe even head up there for a game and really show them how the partying is done!

One thing I like "Whyle Mile" more then "Red Mile" is ..

When I was driving on Whyle ave last week .. lots of people looking at my car, and say " Hey! buddy, nice ride! "

But I never heard that in Red Mile .. my car is just an average joe in Red mile .
(P.S. all I saw in Whyle mile, was domestic junks, old honda, van .. nicest cars were camaro, mustangs, corvette etc .. rarely see any European .. )

Absolutely pathetic that some individuals on here look at sports rivalry as a justication to hate on another city.

What rivalry? The Oilers are better, hands-down.

its hockey.... a bunch of millionaire's chasing a rubber thing around while wearing ice skates...

What's embarrassing is that peoples lives are pathetic enough in this province (and elsewhere) that they get so worked up over something as silly as that......
