My name is Rob, and i am currently running a succesful painting business in south calgary. We are painting mostly exterior residential houses, and still have a fw spots to fill (4). I am currently looking for painters and jobsite managers (crew leaders). The painters are paid $10/hour (Base Wage), and the jobsite managers are paid $12/hour (Base Wage). Now that is per produced hour. I pay based on a performance based system, where you make more money the harder you work. Say i budget a job for 100 hours, and you and your hard working crew do it in 70 hours (which is very possible), you will still be paid for 100 hours. This is a $300 bonus right there. I am currently running my own painting business, and am still looking for painters in the South. I pay $10 for a painter and $12 for a job site manager. It is all based on the piece rate system, and what that is, is i pay per budgeted hour. For example, if i budget a job for 90 hours, and you and your hard working crew complete it in 70 hours, that is a $200 bonus right there.
