Default Bingo Scratch and Win ticket.

Hey guys , just got one of these tickets for fun , and I won it. I called the hotline , and Im not sure if this is a BS company or not. They asked me where I live , blah blah , but they want to send someone over for a presentation on vacuum cleaners or some junk? They are called Star Industrys.

Is this a scam or what? I defiantly wont be giving them any personal information that could hurt me , but wtf .. is this real or not? Anyone?

hey i got the same thing in the mail. I won also, i got a square in the second card.(if you have these cards you'd know what i mean)

My brother also got one, and he won too. Every card is a winner.

im not sure if its fake but i know you have to agree to watch a presentation on home care or something like that.
they probably pressure you into buying something. I think if you watch the presentation, then dont agree to buy anything from the presentation they wont give you anything, but if you spend a certain amount, they give you one of those prizes.

They called me and we asking market research type questions. I caught on pretty quick when most questions revolved around a vacuum cleaner.

yeah, i worked for these guys, shady buggers, they told us we'd be sent out to peopel that were interested but i think they just pulled addresses out of the phone book and sent us to the house...

its an amazing product and i was throughly impressed by it. but i don't think the average person needs a $2000 "airflow cleaning system" AKA vaccuum.

and they are supposed to give you the "prize" reguardless, which is usually a cheap ass set of ginsu knoves or something... the presentation will take probably 30 mins, and if they say it'll only be a few minutes, call BS on them, we were told to do anything to get in the door.

also if you are actually interested and you ask about the price, i think IIRC the lowest they can do (after phoning the ffice) is like $1200.

DO NOT PAY FULL PRICE FOR IT.

Here is a picture of the vaccuum, its called the TriStar MG-1 its actually a good machine, and its made of magnesium, part of the presentationw as to actually jump on it. i'd buy one if i had money to burn.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

you'd be surprised how much crap this thign can pull out of your carpets right after you vaccuum them with your current one..

The reason this one is so good is because its got a washable fabric bag and it has 2 fans to keep the back of the bag clear (where the sucking action coems from) so even with a 3/4 full bag you get full suction, where as most vaccuums the part right near the fan gets covered in dust within the first 2 minutes of vaccuuming and it doesn't suck very well.

i sound like such a salesman, but i'm not, infact, if you want to buy one of these, don't buy it from these shady guys, not sure where else you can get it, but try to find it elsewhere... its just a very good product, but for that price its far out of reach for most people.
