FS: hauppauge pvr 150

I have this for sale, its the hauppauge pvr150 (non MCE version) this card came with a ir receiver and remote but i do not have them anymore as the IR receiver cord broke and i lost the remote, so the only difference between this and the MCE version is that this one can have the ir receiver and remote used with it, if you find another one.


this is for the CARD (and software) ONLY

$80 obo, no lowballs. this thing is in like new condition, only used for about a month.


Or i will trade this Plus $20 for a Low Profile version, MCE or not, doesn't matter.

I actually had 4 of these in my dvr but my mobo bit the dust and the replacement mobo only has 3 pci slots.

Yes people on here are cheap, but that doesn't give you (aragorn_ii) the right to wreck the FS post. A seller has the right to ask what they want. If it's higher than people want to pay then it won't sell... If you really want this thing bad enough then pay what he's asking or go (quickly) and buy it from FutureShop.

besides I wasn't in a hurry to buy it.....thought it was a good deal UNTIL you start adding on the extras that I'd have to buy.....but I think that he just burned his own thread by adding retail sites and greek wizzard didn't help either

and you don't HAVE to buy any extras, you can use a keyboard and mouse to control it, and also this would be a perfect second third or fourth tuner for someone who already has a remote and stuff.

Just for the record, I own 2 x PVR-150's and I love them (using GBPVR)... but the PVR-150 Software/Drivers will not allow BOTH IR Blasters to work together, one Digital Cable being changed by IR and and one analog feed works great, but 2 x Digital does not, so the lack of IR Blaster for a person that owns one is not a huge loss.

But the reason I am posting again is that I want to appologize to thaco for posting the link to the FutureShop sale. I did for many reasons, but the rules are the rules and I should not have done it.

Just FYI - I was able to get both blasters working on two PVR-150's with MythTV, no problems.
