California Immigration Rally

A friend from LA sent this my way.... Too funny

It appears that the Immigration March last Monday in Los Angeles
was a surprising success! According to data released from the Los Angeles County Sheriff, Los Angeles had a reduction in the following:

82% reduction - auto theft
28% reduction - murders/ violent crimes/ rapes

73% reduction - vandalism / tagging
54% reduction - drug related offenses (not including the area surrounding the march)
31% reduction - domestic violence cases
64% reduction - misdemeanor cases (shop lifting, etc.)

In addition, The California Highway Patrol reported that last Monday was a record low in the least amount of traffic accidents on South CA freeways.

--Looks like the immigration rally was well worth it & it sure saved the State of California a chunk of money! Maybe we can do it again sometime!

That rally was crazy...we were crossing the border into Tijuana the day of the rally. They shut down the roads coming out of Mexico. I have not seen so many choppers in one place at the same time. The air was littered with them. But those stats sure prove something...

It was like a protest by the illegal aliens about Bush's proposal to take away some of their rights or something to that effect. Seems odd that illegal immigrants demanding rights. But Leno said it best that, what if we dont meet the illegal immigrants demands? What are they going to do.....leave?

haha we call them "wetbacks" and they hate it...

..but they have a word for south americans that sneak into mexico, and it roughly translates to 'wetback'

I don't think those stats are real.

And I agree, illegal immigrants should have no rights.

i actually would believe it. For once, barely anyone was on the freeways and no traffic anywhere

I think i drove by this going into LA, highway blocked off, every car stoped 2 see if there was Mexicans in there, and if there was they got pulled over, TONS AND TONS of cops..
