So... I just got a call on my cell phone... from a "PRIVATE CALLER"
Here's the conversation...

"Hello this is Michelle from the RCMP... Your car has been impounded for having too many parking tickets. There will be a $50 charge for removing you car"

Now... I'm at home... in my room... looking at my car...

"Really?"

"Yes... It is a blue Civic SI with a carbon fiber hood, correct?"
"Umm yes.."

"Well it has been impounded"

"I don't think so... it's in my driveway"

"Well whats your address?"

"I'm not going to tell you that"

"Really... are you gay?"

I hung up on them... I'm not sure if it was a masculine girl... or a femanim guy... I think it may be related to some guys coming to my work yesterday to "talk to me" but... ya... Any inputs? Should I report it?

They were trying to harass me... but the whole plates thing... car isn't registered under my name, or address... It's registered under my mom's name (no flaming please). It is in no way related to my cell phone... they've called back at least 3 times now. I haven't picked up.

I have to work tomorrow... and if anything suspicious is up... I'm gonna call bell... see if they can release the blocked number to me... and report it to the police...

i'd call it in.. they know what you drive.... maybe they wanted you to get out of your house so they could jack your car??..... i'd be pretty iffy about it.. if they already know what your car looks like and your cell number?

no... never gave my number to anyone on here... actually i think it might be related to something else at my work... i was talking to a friend, and someone sat between us... so i asked her her name... and she assumed i was hitting on her? thats what she told her boyfriend... and he came looking for me with his friends... she's asian... he's leb... anyways her best friend is another co-worker... and she knows what my car looks like/my cell number... so that could be it too... its kinda frightning... good thing i work in a very public place?

I'd wait it out a bit and see what happens, I'm sure it'll surface soon. But I wouldn't hesitate to report to the police if need be, especially if they have your number and are talking about your car. But I thought it was a joke as well when they called you gay.

I would assume its a joke... but I work on the phone for a living, and have an ear to detect familiar voices as well as put names/faces to them... even if they are masking they're voice... not to mention none of my friends would call back 3 times that late at night... I'm pretty sure it'll surface as well... and if need be, i'll report it...
