    Default air ride suspension

    k im thinking of doing air ride suspension... air over leafs or should i switch to a 4 link? ive got shackles and hangers so i figure if i flip kit and blocks and then air bag helpers thatll be the cheapest... then bags and schock relocators on the front... i have a 99 full size chev.... if anyones got any ideas or comments feel free to leave em

    4 link is the way go to, especially if you plan on making any power with the truck. You can get away with removing leafs and flipping the axle, but the leafs wrap if there's any load on them. Same thing will happen with blocks. You could always add the 4 link down the road if you just wanted to get started on it. I had helper bags with leafs on my Suburban, but I'm cheap and wasn't putting a lot of money in to it.

    As far as the fronts go, sounds like you have that under control. Just make some cups, put some bags in and move the shock.

    Just had a friend get a tacoma done by dario, and he spared no expense....looks great, the custom fabrication is really impressive...


    I would suggest him, and I know he would too...his name on beyond is eposer, althouygh he rarely comes on here!

    I would go with the 4 link. If you are on a tight budget wait and save the $$ you need to do it proper. I getting tired of seeing hacked up rear air suspension on trucks. Sure its kinda functional but looks like ass.

    Don't even bother with bags on leaves. It's just plain dangerous and will perform like crap. Do it right the first time.
