You need to run two wires for vtec. One to your vtec solenoid, and the other to the oil pressure sensor. The solenoid has only one wire, which you need run to pin A8 on your ECU. The oil pressure sensor has two wires, one which is grounded to the engine, and the other must be run to ECU pin C15.Originally posted by cipher

Which engine did you put in? Some of the newer ones - I'm not sure exactly which ones - but my Type-R only had one wire for VTEC.
So if you're not using the ECU that belongs to the motor, you'll either have to tap your own oil pressure switch or find a new VTEC solenoid.
