No true Oilers fan should ever cheer for the Flames unless its in a game that helps the Oilers somehow.

I've cheered and watched the oiler's pretty much the second I could talk. I've probably watched 95% of the game's in the last decade and ive followed them everystep of the way even after I moved to calgary......

Now if supporting the flame's when my team was out in 03-04 (which i did) consider's me a fake fan or a bandwaggoner then so be it, but I know at the end of the day, through thick or thin, last place or first place, I will ALWAY's be a die-hard oiler's fan as long as I live and in no way does you not cheering for edmonton make you any more of a real fan.

It is people like you that proves to me that no matter how arrogant most Oilers fans are, there are Flames fans that are just as bad.

calgary's population density is about 25% higher than edmonton, so there goes your urban sprawl argument...

our "urban sprawl" is a joke, if you want to see sprawl and traffic problems go to a real city like LA...alberta is pretty tame by comparison

and i suppose you think regina, fredericton, etc are better than edmonton? since their universities got higher ratings than U of A, and apparently that matters

neither city is anything to brag about imo, but its still funny to see edmontonians so bent on saying their city is better than ours, especially when they resort to saying they have better signs

I respect 'loyal' Flames and Stampeders fans. Sure you have the rivalry but it's all good until the 'jerks' start harassing others. That goes for both Edmonton and Calgary fans.
