Default Where can I get suede in Calgary?

I want to replace the carpeting on my ceiling and doors but I can't find real suede. Just the polyester fake suede.

Ya Fabricland has the fake stuff, it's 100% polyester made to look and feel like suede. It doesn't have that color variation to it though when you rub it the wrong way. People are telling me it doesn't come by the meter and I have to buy the hide for around $300 which makes sense. Anyone know if it's possible to get it by the meter?

Try Buckskin Leather and Furs. They are down near Chinook at 5220 - 1A Street S.E.

I don't specifically recall seeing suede there, but they seem to have pretty much all exterior parts of a wide variety of critters there.

Yes it is possible to get it by the meter, but i don't know of any local joint. I got my stuff through a major distributor.

Maybe try ordering from http://www.fabricking.com/ I believe they sell it for about $50 USD a yard but have a ton of different fabric variations and colors.

    $50 a yard?
I don't know why I'm surprised, I'm buying an animal. I might resort to the fake stuff, I'll probably mess up the install anyway. Paul, do you carry the fake stuff at your store? Maybe I can come by and have a chat with you.
