Pretty interesting. No surprise with Lexus, Toyota, or Honda. The biggest surprises to me are Jaguar, Hyundai, and Cadillac --- I knew they were stepping up their game, but I didn't know how much, pretty impressive.
I'm not surprised with Mercedes, BMW or VW... Audis are below the avg. but better than these 3, good to see Audi far away from VW
Porsche is just pure hardcore
^ That Cayman just rocked the awards I'm not surprised, they seem to be a great company. Thank God Lamborghini isn't on there, their probably 50 times worse then VW. Its unbelievable.... to buy the car is one thing, to maintain it? Go on ebay, its RARE to find a diablo with more then 5,000 km on it. VERY rare to see one with more then 10,000.
They cost $14/km to maintain.
I'm SO proud of GM finally getting their shit together. Its almost too late, but thats GREAT to see.
Not suprisingly, mazda is mediocre at best

I question the relevance of this survey. First 90 days of quality and it's problems per 100 vehicles but doesn't reflect the severity of the problem. I mean the Grand Prix was a leader in its class which makes no sense, or the caravan for that matter.

Well my crappy (at least that's what the jdm boys tell me) Neon has been problem free with awesome paint to boot. The days of Japanese superiority are pretty much over.
JDP initial quality is an ok indication but not completely accurate.
If someone doesn't know how to operate I-Drive, it would be consideed an incident. That's why BMW and MB are doing worse and worse each survey. They got too many bells and whistles and happen to be driven by old guys/soccor moms who know dick about technology (most cases). You do the math.
That why Honda is now forcing their salemen to go thru all features of vehicle on delivery. Most car buyers are stupid.
