Video card recommendations (laptop)

Friend in the market for a gaming laptop
i was looking at:
dell 6400 (with x1400 256mb) [~$1300]
dell XPS (with 7900GTX) [~$3000+]
acer ferrari (with x700) [~$2000]
MSI laptops (with x700) [~$2000]
with a screen preferably 15"+
battery and size is not a factor for him.
i guess under $2500

If battery and size is not an issue, get the XPS. Anything else, you can get a decent PC for half the price that will play far better.
