Well, the reason Pronger's wife wants to leave Edmonton is not b/c she hates the city or the people. Apparently Pronger got a female beat reporter who covers the oilers pregnant. Christy Chorley is her name, and she told Prongs half way through the season. If his wife found out in Carolina why did Chris ask to be moved before the playoffs? Really whether it's his wife or him screwing around, the bottom line is that he's not coming back and Kevin Lowe is currently burdened with one one of the worst positions in hockey. If he makes a deal that long term is a winner, he probably won't be around to reap the benefits. If he gets players that perform well but not near Chris's level the deal will be tagged as a failure. The names bounced about are solid players & prospects but no MVP quality guys.
