Yeah, mynt isn't very high end at all, maybe try the bar at the Palliser hotel?
I'm a younger guy at 22 and wouldn't mind suggestions as well, I like the posh places.
If I had the money I think starting a high end place with a $20 cover would make a killing in Calgary with all the wannabe ballers like me.

place called "Lucky" on 17th is for 25 and up, seemed formal when I was stumbling by one night.

You don't have to be 25 to go to Lucky, I've been there about 5 times, I really like it.
I think for higer age group and generally nicer attire you can go to Bungalow or Mercury..
I went to the buck 65 concert at the grand theatre, the bar there had a lot of suits and woman with their noses in the air..
Velvet Lounge, relatively new, different crowd, hasn't caught on yet so none of the try-hard gangsters.
