240sx stalls please help
Car runs fine except sometimes when i slow down sometimes the rpms drop really low to like 400 rpms and usually it will fix it self a few seconds after i come to a complete stop. Sometimes though it will stall, when i feel it about to stall i put a little gas and it usually fixes itself. Car has turbo in it.
1) if i dyno tune it will it help?
2) i think when it stall it is because the engine isn't getting any gas for some reason.

Check some of your filters, maybe your engine isnt getting enough fuel or air or something, i had that happen once and i changed both my fuel and air filter and it was good again.

exactly. Tipical boost leak. Make a boost leak tester ( its really easy, wont cost much too) if you need. My first spot to check is the throttle body > intercooler piping.Originally posted by dj_rice

Do a tune up you wanker. My 240 had the exact same problem i changed the spark plugs rotor distributor cap now it runs fine!

If you dont want them to pop off occasionally, you should upgrade to the 4-ply reinforced silicone couplers and get T-bolt clamps..those will never pop off
