    Default Landscaping Rocks and Stones

Besides Burnco, does anybody know of a place where I can get crushed rock, stones, boulders, etc...for landscaping?

We plan on doing our yard pretty soon this year and since I've never landscaped before, was curious where I should go to get these materials without breaking the bank.

    Thanks,

Burnco is one of the better priced places in town.

Generally a yard of crushed rock will run you about $35-40/yard. So unless you are buying HUGE quantities you arent going to save that much money shopping around.

I-XL should have some, also try Home Depot/Revy and some of the Garden Centres around town (Golden Acres, Sunnyside, etc)

If you are looking for sandstone boulders, try developers around the city. I got 15 dumptruck loads along with 65 truck loads of loam for 5000 delivered. That from burnco would have cost 3 fold if not more.

IXL wont have anything like that, try Alomar building products, and Manstar distributors. You can try Sarcee gravel pit for crushed rocks for cheap.

    Is that Spruce Lane Farms?

We have a gift certificate for there, that would work!
