    Default Repainting Center Caps Question

I want to repaint the center caps on my new rims. This is probably a stupid question, but will paint stripper damage the rubber ring on the back of the center cap?

Most likely. It depends what kind you use, but it would be safest to try and tape it up to prevent damage. Stripper could dry it out or something.

Very likely it will, cover it up or I think Castrol has something that can strip paint, Super Clean?

Superclean probably wont strip paint. Its toxic, but Ive used it to clean painted surfaces and It doesnt strip it.

Id say your best bet would be sand it down.
