Convoy of Police at Chinook

Was just at Chinook to buy toothbrush and toothpaste and there had to be at least 12 police cruisers there. They had the area around the Chapters taped off...


Anyone know what happened?

those weren't cops you saw, they were the highly educated and skilled people of chinook centre security. knowing those guys, somebody probably stole a book from chapters.

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a stabbing in the
parking lot of a local mall.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2006,
emergency crews responded to a disturbance near the theatres
located at Chinook Centre Mall, 6455 Macleod Trail S.

Upon arrival at the scene, a male victim, 18, was found to be
suffering from a single stab wound to the abdomen area. He
was transported to hospital where he is being treated and is
in serious but stable condition.

At this point, investigations have revealed the attack
occurred in the S.E. parking lot of the mall.

The matter is currently under investigation and further
details will be released when more is known.

yeah went to a movie last night and when i got out thats what i ran into, i parked my bike on the sidewalk by the movie entrance, everyone coming out from the movies had to be escorted to there car (or bike), they had a bunch of pilons covering where the blood was.


there was abit by the door and then the rest was closer to the chapters side of the small parking lot. seemed to be about 10 to 15 pilons, strange thats what they do to cover it up????
