Default WRX Wagon - good baby carrier?

Hey guys - I'm looking at getting a new vehicle that will accommodate a baby seat. Is the 04 wagon a good choice? Enough room in the rear seat for baby seat? How about ease of entry?

    Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

A lot of wrx owners even the sedans put baby seats in them, and form what I have heard it isn't that hard.

I have even seen baby seats in STi's

I have both a booster seat and a baby seat in the STi. There are 3 child seat anchors across the back, and the Latch system to secure the newer type of child seats.

Both fit ok for me, and you don't need much leg room for baby seats/booster seats. The 4 door sedan is easy to get into/out of. I can imagine the wagon to have that much more flexibility in hauling baby gear, including a stroller and diaper bag.

Pee_Sack, I think that was your WRX I parked next to at the Edmonton meet on Saturday. Only had the one booster seat in that day

had a baby seat and a booster in the 06 wagon. no room problems at all and as mentioned, can't beat the safety factor.

I have a front facing babyseat in my '03 wagon. My seat goes back a bit, but there's still lots of room for my daugher. Not like she needs the leg room right now.

I can take some pics tomorrow so you get the idea.

Awesome, I actually didn't even notice you had a baby seat in your car. There are a couple guys up here in Fort McMurray that have baby seatsin there cars.

My son was playing with the digital camera when I was driving, so this is the view he gets from his booster seat:

The baby seat will be there, but not the baby. Don't think she can handle all the exhaust fumes and boxer rumble.
