Default Which city has the worst drivers?

Calgary drivers are getting worse and worse IMO. I see or experience near accidents more and more often. I don't remember drivers being this bad in Vancouver or cities in the States. Which city in your experience has the worst drivers in terms of rudeness, skill, and just plain stupidity?

    North American cities only please.

Although they drive CRAZY in Montreal, they aren't bad drivers, I saw lots of insane stuff, but not one accident.

Calgary is the worst IMO for rudeness, skill, and just plain stupidity, though I've only ever driven through detroit and seattle in the US.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

i honestly think calgary has some bad drivers.. to many new comers not experienced enough for the road systems here + too many people on roads that cant handle the volume + not enough major roads..

ie. the only way to get out of the south is macleod and deerfoot

That's why the south is ghetto. Seattle drivers were super polite. People go out of their way to let you change lanes, etc.

I think LA is actually kinda bad. The only reason people don't complain about it is because they're used to it.

yah....Saskatoon is the shittiest place to drive.

    - Potholes that will eat your car and any children inside of it.
    - Potholes
    - Drunk bums all over the roads (both drivers and pedestrians....saw a dood stumbling in the middle of a busy as hell road and he fell over)
    - POS cars that would never pass an inspection even if they bribed the mechanic.
    - Old people who can't see shit
    - FOB's that have Hello Kitty cushions on their car seats and drive like idiots in the winter.
    - 13 year old thugs driving Chevy Luminas with a gangsta lean while blasting rap music while high on dope/other drugs.
    - Rednecks w/mullets burning out in mid day light and then almost losing it.

I could go on and on. No wonder I hate that damn place.

Other cities have the "crazy" speed factor that makes them shitty...but in Saskatoon/Saskatchewan it's the stupid factor that really shows.

I would have to say Calgary.... It seems that everyone is in such a rush and everyone thinks they are more important than the people they share the roads with....

Some drivers need to learn how to take a deep breath....

I find Calgary pretty bad... I would much rather drive in Vancouver, or anywhere in the lower mainland than here.

Montreal is like Europe. It looks crazy but it's actually controlled chaos. While I haven't had the chance to do LA I have done other American centers. I still have to choose Calgary and not because I see a bad driver every 2nd day or week, it's every fucking day. The second I buckle up I'm in 'defense mode' as I know I will be cut-off by some non-signalling fuck, or watch 5 cars run from a yellow to red light across a busy intersection, or watch helplessly in my rear view mirror as some cell phone talking tool slams on his brakes behind me because he/she's not paying attention to conditions. I've seen a few doozie accidents that were caused by nothing other than stupidity. It's pretty scary sometimes knowing that your life can be in the hands of people that just don't understand how to drive safely.

Regina is pretty bad, people have no concept of the passing lane, we also got lots of pot holes, and an endless amount of people who think they are traffic cops and need to take it upon themselves to regulate how people drive by taking up 2 lanes and goin 35 in a 50 zone

The problem with calgary drivers is that most came from sask and they learned to drive on the gravel roads with about 1 car for everyone 10kms. In saskatchewan their motto is "Don't signal then others will know your next move"

I have never heard of that one. Regina and Saskatoon are bad, but the busier it gets on Calgary roads, the less skill people seem to have.
