Driver's abstract: Registries or Police?

Hey all... might be getting a job as a driver (woohoo!) for a company, they need a driver's abstract as part of the application... now... do I go through the police to get one, or the registries? I've never had to get one before and a lot of places are saying not much about the subject

Registries, 15-20 bucks or so.

Background/Security Clearance is done through CPS/RCMP
