    Default An Update On My MR2 (STILL NEED HELP)

    Hey guys, well as you know it all started when I drained my battery and then had my boss send some kid out to boost my mr2. Well apparently when we(i use we since I didnt know better on boosting technique for an mr2) not only did it fry the wire, but it looks like Ive friend my ECU. Now Im In a HUGE bind her because I need my car on the road again stat(for work and my own pleasure of course) My MR2 is sitting at the shop right now, but I have to find an ECU for my car. Now for those who havent followed my posts, I own a 1991 USDM non turbo (unfortunately, but still a mr2 lol) and apparently I can only get an ECU from a 91 or 92 MR2 because of the engine being the 5S-FE engine. Can anyone tell me where I can get one for cheap? (cheapest I should say) Ive tried pick n pull. and Im going to phone around to a few other wreckers. Though the possibility of gettin one from them is gona be rare... Im also going to Try to find the phone number for Project Omega in Edmonton, I believe that was the name of the shop Redlyne_mr2 gave me before. Though Im having trouble with finding that number.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You can technically get a ticket for each window that's illegally tinted. So as above, if you're being an ass to the officer (or if he's just an ass to begin with), he can give you two. (or three tickets if you're dumb enough to tint the windshield of your BMW... but if you own a BMW you can't be stupid right?)

    yeah, he did, but he's been doin a REALLY good job on my MR2 so far. BTW. THANX for that hookup bro I JUST found an ECU at Yoko for $250 but Truyen says to wait til tomorrow and He's gona get it off them for cheaper

    TRY MR2OC.COM THEY HAVE A BUNCH ON THERE FOR SALE IN THE PARTS SECTION FOR CHEAPER TAHN THAT. EVEN UPGRADED ONES AS WELL...

    Pretty much anyone who has ever done a na to turbo swap should have an ecu for next to nothing. 250 bucks is a ripoff considering there isnt any demand for it. pm thinmyster aka Jon he should have his ecu from has car when it was NA. Try posing on 780tuners mr2 section as well I know there are a few people with swapped mr2s who should have ecus.

    As for Project Omega there number is 780-628-4617 ask for Rob
    Looking for a new VW? How about a used vehicle? We are Central Albertas #1 source for pre-owned vehicles
