Unlock T-Mobile Cell Phone?

Does anyone know how to unlock a T-Mobile Motorola Razor cell phone from the US?

You might be able to find a shop to unlock it for you.

On a Razr it seems to be pretty difficult/ricky actually to do it yourself.

To unlock yourself:

*You need to downgrade your boot loader - this is very risky - no liability is accepted for any problems that may occur*

Ensure your phone is fully charged before starting.

I recommend before beginning you first make a backup of your phone as described in the How To: Use Flashbackup To Backup Your Phone topic in the tutorials section.

This assumes all necessary drivers are already installed.

1) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on)

2) Identify your current bootloader (e.g. 8.26 or 7.E0)

3) Download and extract http://rapidshare.de/files/19094419/...grade.rar.html

4) If you have bootloader 8.26 open the folder for 8.26, double click on the downgrader.exe file. It will open a command window and start the downgrade process. If it stops with please wait on the screen and the phone off for a lengthy period start the phone in bootloader mode

5) If you have a different bootloader than 8.26 or 7.D0 then use RSD to flash the file R374_V3BL 07.D0.shx in the 8.23 folder

6) Download and extract the Moto Unlocker software from http://rapidshare.de/files/14034021/..._2005.zip.html

7) Start in bootloader mode (hold # and * while powering on)

8 ) Run Moto Unlocker click connect and yes
