    Kiddha,

    Nice work you pimp!

I'm just curious. On that one wall, do you have cabinets overtop of a full size window???

Good work. Where'd you get the granite top from?

Looks great, the only thing I'm not a fan of is the white cabinets, aside from that

Nicely done. I am in the middle of re-building our kitchen too.

I really like the fit/finish of your counter, I am doing the exact same granite color!
However I am cutting out a 1x2' area that I am installing a chefs board, flush that is wing nut removable (from the bottom).

I really like your cabinets, however much like jdmakkord I am not much of a fan of white, but the profile is beautiful.

    Excellent handy work, hats off!

    Thanks again to everyone.

    To answer a few questions...
The cabinets are white and I dont like them either. Although the changes I have made make me feel better about them. Not into making new ones or spending 6 K on new ones.

Nismo- The window is just a small picture window below the cabinets. It's perfect for when we sit down for dinner. As you look out the window, the only thing you can see is the city line directly centered in the window. Its just like an amazing photo.

FrozenRice- I made the tops myself. I am a project co-ordinator / fabricator. Perks of a small laid back shop!!

Kaput- This is a three level Condo / townhome in Christy Park.

If you have questions regarding stone work. Feel free to PM me!!

    Cheers and thanks again!

Strip and Paint? That'd only cost your own time a a hundred bucks or so.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

As for the cabinets...I remember seeing a member on performance-shop that had a shit load of new cabinet doors in a few different finishes...I'll try and track that down for you, you could reface them for really cheap.

Its a fair idea. Although the doors I have are "foiled" fake melamine. I could paint them and all, but I have a hard time mixing true elegance and modern style of granite with just a refaced cabinet set up.

Refacing is a bit more work than I'm interested in right now. Its more than just new or redone doors. Everything I do to the doors, I have to do to all the gables, and cabinet box fronts so it won't look "hoakey".

For now I will do the feature wall, (stacked rundle slate with an exotic stone shelf ) and / or the entrance flooring, and basement flooring. (multi-colored slate) I will post pics when complete.

    Thanks again for the comments

    Ken
