found that this weather (hot humid air) has affected thier cars?

Mine was running significantly slower today...mmmm...Was going to port my airbox today too...damn I think I might hold off untill some cooler weather, so that I can fasion an intake pipe to the front grille...

Hot humid air has less O2 content. Since your car sucks in the same volume of air, there is less O2 for combustion, thus less power.

I knew that, but I'm talking probably a 25% loss in power...that seems extreme...just curious as to everyone elses results, maybe I have a problem wih my car...I do need new plugs...

buh_buh ran almost a second slower down the 1/4 mile Friday night, so I'd say it has a HUGE effect on performance.

Yeah, first couple runs were about 16.2, I couldn't even break into the 15's all night, even though I felt as though I'd driven the best I'd ever driven.

hmmm I haven't use my A/C much.... I think I turned it on for 2 min today... (longest duration I ever left my a/c on since i bought the car!!!!!)
