I've been thinking of doing this, for quite a while. Except the ZKW and Bosch is built a bit differently and I'm not sure about doing it

The fact taht you cut a hole in the lens actualyl works perfectly for those with DDE's.

    GOOD JOB

But that looks like alot of work and effort and time....I'm contemplating retrofit or just shoving them in my stock projectors

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Yes, it did take quite awhile. This project stretched over a several weeks while I looked for those stainless steel strips that I eventually found at a hobby store. The diamond-plated hole saw took almost 3 weeks to arrive from the US. However, knowing what I know now and owning the hole saw, I can do the whole project in one afternoon.

The Acura TSX projector has a cleaner cut-off and wider pattern than BMW single-beam projectors. Most people seem to agree that it's also the easiest to retrofit.

I bought a pair of E39 and a pair of E46 projectors just for the hell of it to see if I could maintain the German DNA. I would have been okay with either one since they're both better than the ZKW, but the TSX worked better for this application.

Then I noticed my alarm remote and suddenly it's okay to have Japanese parts in my German car.
