Default Insurance inspections for 15 year old vehicles... how often? when?

I am selling a car of mine which is older than 15 years old. I did an inspection a few months back to get it insured. If I sell the car now will it need to pass another inspection to be insured by the new buyer?

Does it only need an inspection if it sat uninsured for a certain period or does it need to be inspected each and every single time a new owner purchases the vehicle?

The buyer can use a previous inspection if it was done less than two years ago.
