I have just finished assembling a fresh h22a built block. The block is now complete and includes the following:

    - Piston to Wall clearance of 0.0040", 1st compression ring at 0.020", 2nd at 0.022" (clocked at 180deg)
    - JE 9:1 pistons - 88mm *mint* (additional porting was made to the intake side to accomodate +1mm oversize valves)
    - Eagle H-beam h22a connecting rods *mint* - 5.630" (part #5630)
    - USDM h22a1 crankshaft *new* - fully balanced and micropolished by Okanagan Engine
    - brand new OEM main and rod bearings *new* (all to a clearance of 0.0015")
    - h22a OEM oil jets and breather covers
    - OEM baffleplate (sits on bearing cap bridge), 2 balancer shafts, crankshaft covers and seals, h22a oil pump assembly

Lower h22 crankgear was found. All that is left to make it complete is the oil pump cover...which i should locate this week.

Hey just curious how much it cost you to fully build the long block?

If you don't include the supplied block itself and the crank, it will run ~$4000can to do everything that is done to the one I am selling (including all the new bearings, new sleeves, pistons, rods, crank, etc.). One of the biggest problems is finding an old block for cheap that has excellent condition mains and crank (plus the water pump, crank gears and all the other OEM parts would need to be supplied).

This one is 100% mint and has never even been cranked. Trust me, you would not be able to properly fully build a block for $3500 or less including core, etc.

Sleeves are from JG engine dynamics...im not sure what the thickness is (and can't measure since the block is wrapped up ). They are the maximum thickness that can fit without any overlap or contact between cylinders.
