Jesus man, I know you like Transformers, but you need to get out more. No one should get this upset over a movie based on children's toys.
I totally see that. Damon does bare some resemblance to the early 70's pre-obese Capatain Kirk and unlike alot of the posers in Hollywood, he can act.
Matt Damon!
Matt Damon'll probably be a better Captain Kirk than Shatner was. Only 40 year old trekkie virgins would think that Shatner can act.

Shatner can not only act but hes going on tour here soon too. Hes a singer. Check out his albumns. I know the one from the 60's is called Spaced Out. The new one just came out too. Lol. Viva la SHATNER!Originally posted by Si_FlyGuy

"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

She's already exhibiting signs of turning into my Mom, I need some sort of legal recourse if a full-blown transformation occurs.

imdb is now reporting that it's rumored... oh there's still hope after all then
The beauty of the old Star Trek, and the old Star Wars for that matter, was that the acting did suck. That just made the action seem that much more rediculous.
I dunno man. Shatner was good in Wrath of Kahn, but that is the only Star Trek movie to ever really be good.
