Wow, wtf is this. Im walking down town on 8th street going towards the macs to pick up my moms companies mail from the mailbox there. Some asshole spits from his balcony and just misses my head. What the fuck? is that what you do with your life. Try to hit people in the head with spit that smells like cigarettes. Calgary used to be such a kind city...now people spit on your head while you walk down the street

Dude I can remember being at parties with people pissing off balconys onto busy sidewalks years ago so it's not like this kind of thing just started happening in Calgary or any other place that has high rise apartment buildings mixed with young & stupid people.

Landlords frown up that kind of stuff. Hint hint. At our building any report of things or stuff being thrown from the balconies is automatic termination.

It's extremely hard to pinpoint what apartment on tall buildings the falling stuff originated. An intoxicated roommate I once had threw a beer bottle off our balcony that shattered the windshield of a parked Z28 in broad daylight on 12 Ave and we never heard a peep from anyone.

I had a similar experience when I was picking up a friend from there, some douche bag decided it would be cool do drop a wad of soggy tissue on my car from his balcony on the 10th floor.
I saw them peeking over the balcony before they dropped it so I knew what unit they were in. They of course denied it, but they sure didnt feel as cool when i came pounding on their door(one of them was actually hiding in the bathroom).

I can remember a couple years ago, a couple of smart guys were shooting there paintball guns from their apartment. (highrise to the left of the Roadhouse) at people and doorman out front. It wasn't a couple shots either. They were briliant enough to shoot as many rounds to get located and caught.
