DS Lite + Opera Browser

Hey guys any of you pick up the new Opera8.5 Browser for the DS Lite yet?
I just ordered it for $40 and it should arrive in a week or so.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience, please share!

i don't see a point, if you are at a wifi spot you're probably close to a computer too.

Neither do I. Surfing in small screen with no access to any medias sucks (video/flash etc)

It's more for the gimmick. I mean I can check my email or browse beyond at the library without having to go to a public computer, as I don't have a laptop anymore. Or say I am at a cafe or something rare like that.

there's a video on youtube about using the the browser on the ds. very slow load times due to the slow processor of the ds

where did u order it from? is it the ds lite version and i'm assuming it's the Jap version?

Yes it is the DS Lite version, some of the menus are in Japanese but nothing a little learning curve won't get rid of.
I bought it on eBay for $40, most people are selling for $60+.

I heard the DS Lite has Wireless B yes? We'll see about the load times, it seems ok from the videos I've seen but yea I guess I will make a review once I get mine. Doesn't support flash though but oh well.

i'm posting this from ds lite + opera. it's great. once everything loads its not slow imo. but it isn't lightning fast either. the japanese software isn't a problem either, it's really intuitive. 2 thumbs up from me.
