Windows (and small question bout car washes lol)

On everything i clean in my car i will say that windows (bar none!) are the worst fuckers to clean.

after a car wash the microfibre towels still leaves some on, get home spray it with "streak free" windex only to make it appear streak free until driving at night and the street lights hit your windshield at "THAT ANGLE" where everything shows up

Advice! PLEASE! i hate windows!

(also, what do you guys use to dry off your cars? i notice after the car wash i still get some small swirls in some areas after i dry off using microfibre towels, i use 2 different ones so its not that they're too moist... heres my routine

presoak/bug buster
tire cleaner
soap (from the hose, never touch those fucking brushes)
rinse
wax
spot free
drive out and dry)

So any and all advice is welcome

for the first question, i would say stop using the windex, the alchols in it are bad fro the interior and exterior of you car. I would find a good foaming class cleaner such as stonners. (i love the stuff). It works much better then the spray crap, and is much less of a mess to work with. I would alsotry to find some all purpose mf cloths fr doig the windows, they work better then paper towel.

As for drying your ride i would go ut and buy a syntetic mf chomi liek the absorber. (i know there not great) however what you do is wipe down the whole car when its soaked, and ring otu the absober as needed. This will not completely dry the car howvever it will get off most of the water. From there you want to get a good mf ww dryig towel. Becsue you ahev removed most of the water the ww will easly suck up the rest leaving your car nice and dry. So bascily you want tp suck up as much as you can on the first pass butn to all of it, then after t is half dry finish it off.

I use Stoner Invisible Glass with micro fiber cloth. No streaks.

The GM Glass cleaner (AC Delco) is great stuff. Just keep it off of your vinyl because the spray is almost entirely isopropyl alcohol. (It will dry out your hands too.)

It's good that you're not using the brush at the do-it-yourself place, but you still need something to agitate the dirt to remove it. If you don't, you're rubbing the residue against your paint when you dry it, which will swirl your paint. Consider purchasing a microfiber wash mitt for this purpose. MF waffle weave drying towels are the way to go afterwards.

The stoner brand from partsource or canadian tire is some of the best ive used. But keep in mind, that "bad angle" will always show SOMETHING.

I find windex to be very greasy and it leaves a LOT of streaks.

i just use water and a clean cotten town. i find it works the best if your windows or already quite clean

if they are dirty any glass cleaner and newspaper work great.

ive lived without tinted windows and i hate dirty windows and i find that water and a clean cloth works great...requires a little more elbow grease but its worth it since it seems to last longer than when i put windex or glass cleaner on.

I used newspaper a few days ago and it works great. My friend taught me this trick and it works like magic. Dont have the newspaper too wet and not too dry though. It just has to be a bit wet.

and it helps to crumple and uncrumple it a few times to make it a little softer that way you can get into the corners as well.

If your getting streaks from "that angle" its because your towel or whatever your using is dirty.

You should be able to clean your windows without any cleaners if your windows are decently clean from the wash and your towel is clean.

It's actually a 4 pack of the "invisible glass" from costco, and I think its udner 20$, i could be wrong though, i haven't bought in a while.

For my tires, and exterior trim, i use the aerospace 303, that shit is the bomb.

I find 303 doesn't last too long on tires. But on exterior trim its great.

It's lasted really well for me? What do you use that lasts longer?

The only pita with the aerospace is when you're doing trim pieces, it's tough to do a clean job and it's hard to get off your body panels.

Use a non-ammonia cleaner. Windex will wreck the film (If you have a tint) Glass plus will not. Or you can make a home solution of vinegar and water and wipe with a soft cloth. Paper towels will scratch the film.

Does anyone know if you can "buff" your windows with a power polisher? My windhield has alot of little scratches on it which would be great if they could be removed.
