hey my names chad and i'm gonna be buying a wrx, i was just wondering what kind of things i should look for when buying one and also if any one knows of any good ones for sale.

You buying used I assume? Can't tell you much about used ones other than get it inspected and watch for signs of abuse. Transmission should be just fine if it wasn't abused.
