if it's true, anyone know where it will be located?

It is true, I think they are opening up sometime in September. You can see the exact location and whatnot on the door downtown.
Is that why they jacked up all of their prices downtown?
My steak teriyaki and sushi used to be $6.95 and is now $9.95.
Anyone know where in Crowfoot?

Oh they have the new location advertised at the current location just outside the door. Looks like its standalone not in a mall or anything.
It should open September 4, 2006. At least that's what it said. Restauarants usually get delayed........
I'm there if they still have happy hour!!!

If you mean Sushi Towa on 4st that has to be the worst sushi place I have ever eaten at. Horrible service, and the sushi is too big.Originally posted by Hanzo

Sakana Grill is way way better.
I was hoping they would have something else to offer as I don't eat sushi.Originally posted by Hanzo

The pick two item combos are better at Sushi Tokyo then. It's cheaper ($8.95) and portions are larger (35% more).Originally posted by sputnik

There's a lot of stuff besides Sushi. Lots of cooked stuff, you'll be fine. Lobster tails, teriyaki steaks, chicken, salmon, seafood shishkebabs, salads, soups, yakisoba noodles, udons etc. Oh man I'm hungry for sushi now.Originally posted by heavyD

Towa is a poser. Trying to be hip and different while screwing most dishes up. If you want traditional sushi, don't go there.Originally posted by Hanzo

We used to do take out at Sushi Tokyo... until we saw roaches crawling on the floor.Originally posted by max_boost

The price increases are probably caused by the fuel cost increases. Gas goes up, everything that has to be moved from point A to point B goes up too.
I'm pretty sure its just that simple.
Hana is the place to be, Towa ain't bad either.
Sakana Grill is "alright" for a quick lunch, nothing over the edge though or a "must try". Just normal food, and it is obvious by the price. I'd still be interested in trying the new location though.
Gawd I want some right now...
... I should have had sushi for lunch today...
i heard sushi hiro is good... but very pricey tho
