Carproof verified vs AB Registries VIR?

Would both of these reports be similiar? The carproof verified one costs around $45, not sure about the AB registries version though. I'm looking for full history of a vehicle ie accidents, liens, dates registered, out of province info, etc. Which one would be better? I don't see any point in purchasing both esp if they derive data from a common source.
