Radium / Invermere area

Heading to this area Labour day weekend. So far, our plans are to do some whitewater rafting and enjoy the hotsprings.

Are there popular lakes or beaches around there that people hang out at? Also looking to maybe do some banana boating or try wakeboarding as well. Any one have recommendations on good company's to rent with as well as where they are located in the valley?

Any suggestions or tips on what to do are much appreciated

in invemere there is a boat place right beside the petro canada. they have jetskis, boats etc for rent. good prices.

alot of the beaches are private up at invemere.. for example im in the lakeview meadows comunity i think its called lol. private beach.. rightbeside the private beach of timberridge 3.

there are only a couple places to rent form up there. go to A&W when you get there lol. booklets on everything to do.. helpful whenm you first arrive!

Do you already have a place rented while you are out there or are you camping?

If your interested in renting a condo that sleeps around 6 with full kitchen, etc PM me.

I love it out there. If you are going out with truck definately go up Mount Swansea. It is well worth the drive/hike.

Other than that just go and exlore.
I love being out there. Each time I go I just want to stay.

yeah and if you wanna wakeboard that weekend be ready for some cold water, its nice now i actualy just got back from riding on invermere and its 69 F in the water but by the long weekend its chilly

69 is pretty chilly ... you get those kinda temps at ghost lake.

I just got back from invermere about 2 hours ago... They have pretty fun bars (Copper and some other name) it was really fun.. As for things to do , havin a boat and tubeing / boarding was awesome... drinkin around the fire and soakin up the sun... also meeting hot girls was

The weather was awesome , water was calm , and the water wasnt cold ..

well theres lots of tree hugger hikes and stuff, theres some crazy cliff jumping if your into that. on thursdays you can watch people do glass blowing, theres paintball around thats pretty good. lots of nice golf courses.
the other bar is buds and dont get your hopes up on the hot girls

sometimes you see some but bring a brown bag just incase

to get there when you take the right at the time hortons to head into invermere you take that road as far as you can, it takes you down into invermere and then up a hill to sobeys, go though the lights and you will come to a t intersection, go through that and you will kinda get into a housing area just keep going and you will see the beach area.
